The Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub) is a nationwide program launched by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). It creates a powerful network for digital innovation by connecting startups and SMEs with established corporations, research institutions, and investors across Germany.

The de:hub Saarbrücken focuses on Artificial Intelligence and plays a central role in Saarland's transformation towards greater sustainability and digitalization. Through this initiative, we gain access to a nationwide ecosystem of over 6,000 startups and 2,000 partners.

East Side Fab

East Side Fab is Saarland's innovation booster, founded in 2019 by regional entrepreneurs and actors from science. Located in Saarbrücken, it provides a collaborative space where business, science, and startups work together to transform ideas into market-ready solutions.

As a registered association (e.V.), East Side Fab brings together industry leaders, SMEs, and startups to shape the future through collaboration. The founding members include major companies like Hager SE, thyssenkrupp Systems Engineering, Villeroy & Boch AG, and htw saar.
